Wonder Woman fans actually gave model/actress Megan Gale the most votes to play Wonder Woman. She was set to play Wonder Woman in the upcoming George Miller movie version of Justice League of America before it got put on hold.

In any case, I would honestly prefer a relative unknown in the role of Wonder Woman. I think if you have a lead actress that is too well-known, it's harder for the audience to be drawn into the storyline and the studio will spend more money on the actress than on good writers or special effects. A repeat of Catwoman is not necessary.
