What do you think of Obama's apparently minimal support for the National Day of Prayer?

I think it's a bit of an overblown situation. I answered this in a related question, but here it is again.
This whole situation was really disappointing. James Dobson, the president of Focus on the Family, criticized the President for not sending a representative to the National Day of Prayer event. However, Dobson is the same person who said that the only people from the White House that should come should be anti-choice. Obviously, in a Democratic White House, this is going to be fairly hard to find.
To me, the fact that he disallowed any pro-choice representative from coming is disappointing. The Day of Prayer is not about abortion, it's about faith for the whole country. So the idea of the organizers of the event deciding who can and cannot come to the event, and then criticizing the President for not sending their choice of representative, is unfortunate.
