one good way to save money, is have a budget. Decide how much money you wish to save each month, and make the budget with what money will be left, when you put aside what you want to save. If you have a grocery budget of a certain amount, stick to it. Work out how much you usually pay for electric power, gas, water, telephone etc. You will have to leave a bit extra in the budget for emergency fund, say repairs. Try not to use credit cards, they are such a trap. If you really have a goal, which you are meaning to save for, being on the budget will help you reach the goal.

Budgeting is the best way to save money because it gives you a clear idea of how much money you are spending and where you are spending it. This enables you to cut back on wasteful spending habits. You can never avoid your necessary expenses, but you can keep them to a minimum. By budgeting, you can only save a little but your savings will increase gradually.
