What do you think is the best Fitness Game on the Wii?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My favorite Fitness Game for the Wii is Wii Fit. My brother got it for Christmas and within days our whole group of friends were signed up to play regularly. Wii Fit works your entire body with Yoga, Strength Training, Aerobics and Balance games and exercises. If you haven't yet tried Wii Fit I would highly encourage you to give it a try. I'm pretty convinced it's the most fun you can have working out!

Wii fit is the quintessential fitness game. It is popular with people of all ages and includes just about everything you need in the bundle. (About $140 on amazon, probably cheaper on craigslist or pricegrabber). It earned an 8.1 community rating on Gamespot.com, which is very good, and a very high 4.5 stars on Amazon.com (out of 710 reviews). Consider it an investment, as other games in the future will use the products bundled in the wii fit package, including "wii ski" (now available) and the upcoming "EA Sports Active".
Keep in mind, however, that video games are only limited in their fitness potential. I recommend using the game as a starting place, and then moving into swimming, running, weightlifting etc. (The games can be used for fun or a kick warm up after that as well! They are very fun)

If you are looking for a fitness game that does not require the Wii fit board, my very favorite is My Fitness Trainer with Maya the trainer. She is energetic, motivates you and sets the routine to your fitness level. If you have a step, she will work you out on that as well.

I also have ''Dancing with the Stars'' and love to play it for a good upper body workout.

I have Jillian's workout, from The Biggest Loser (I love her style) for the Wii board, but it is lacking in variety and is not fun to do. I got tired of Wii Fit after a few months, although it is fun to play the balance games.

Wii Fit is the only fitness game that is currently worth purchasing on Wii.

While other games may feature a lot of movement, Wii Fit is the only good game that is dedicated towards fitness and healthy living.

Don't be fooled by the competing games that come out. Most are quick cash-ins or shovelware created to confuse consumers.

Buy Wii Fit. It's not so much a game as it is a premium fitness tool. Plus it comes with the balance board. It has everything you'll need.
