According to Katherine Kuzma-Beck of artbooks.suite101.com, she posted that the belief in Fairies was inspired by the book of illustrations by Christopher Wood during the period 1840 to 1870, which was later called the Victorian Age or the Golden Age of Fairies. His works has fired the flames of the public's interest in fairies and fantasies and also fascinated the public enthrallment in's A Midsummer Night's Dream and the Tempest.
