If one has a problem with a solution then one does not have a problem and if one has a problem without a solution then one does not have a problem but a reality needing to be dealt with and accepted.
My Dad always told me I talk to much and then I did but as I grew older I took heed of some words he said "Buddawiggi you talk to much and you can't learn anything by talking, I want you to for every one word you say listen to four" .. putting that into practice put me in an immediate and very deep hole of "word debt" but after I forgave myself of the debt and began anew listening to four words for every one spoken has made a big difference.. it is not really an attainable goal to listen to four for every one but it is in striving for that goal that I have become a much better listener. My Dad was a faucet salesman with a lot of hidden wisdom.

M$"Love- to embrace that which makes you happy. Hate- to avoid or destroy that which makes you unhappy. Sadness- to know the loss of happiness or the gaining of unhappiness. In this, love is the builder of our life, hate is the institute of change, and sadness is our ability to recognize what we need."

M$These are the great words that I like ever. Most of the people assume that whatever happening to them involve external factors or environment, like money, other people, economy, government, politics, social groups, technology and time.
I think that when you accept that you are responsible for everything happens with you or your life and you have the ability to come up and resolve it, then all the problems would be solved or even not create and you become happy ever.
Although this kind of situation never fall in reality but thinking like this could solved many problems.
'Think positive and be smile always'.
Positive attitude is the best way of being respectable and achieving success. I like to say to my friends, family, relatives or even strangers while meeting that 'Be smile always, must know the value of life'. Life is what a beautiful and we make this more beautiful by making every moment enjoyable and real. Future thinking is important but rather than always planning for future think the moment you are in.
Thank you - what a word, I like it always, it never make me less valuable or below but develop my attitude and emotional intelligence too.
Try to know your self better than others. I always prefer to think what I am and what will I do best.
Thanks

M$I like the simple answer. You know... I'm starting to really "not hate" this site. heh. A joke. I like it here. Everyone seems fairly positive, and intelligent.
A better way to phrase it: strive for happiness by doing things that make you happy, not what others think will make you happy.
Yes! It's nice to know there is somewhere to go if you want to get away from defaultly (not really a word, but you get the idea) unhappy people, even if it's just for a little while.
My grandmother unknowingly gave me the best piece of advice--business, life or otherwise.
One day, several years ago, I was standing on my driveway here in The Midwest. It was a gorgeous, sunny day when I called her.
"Oh, hi, bubelah, how are you?"
"Well, Grandma," I said, "I'm doing great. It's a beautiful, sunny day."
"Oh? Here it's raining cats and dogs. Feh. If you go out, don't forget to put your galoshes on."
"But, Grandma, it's not raining here. It's gorgeous and sunny."
The next thing she said is going to be the title of my first book:
"So if it should rain, so you won't get wet!"
Think about it: "Be prepared for something, because it could happen."
Interpreted also as "Have a 'Plan B' so you don't get soaked.."

M$If you think about the great pressures in your life, they all come from the belief that your actions will have catastrophic effects, or that nothing you do matters. This idea takes care of both ends at once, which is why I find it very uplifting and remind myself of it every day. If nothing you do matters in the big picture, in the grand scheme of things, then you are free to make mistakes, and fail at things without doing too much damage to yourself or the environment you live in. Once you realize your own insignificance, you ironically become extremely powerful, because you are free to see the world as something that you are acting in, and not something that is acting upon you. (If you're not the center of the universe, then it stands to reason that the world is not conspiring to ruin your life.) You become a person who acts deliberately and lives in the moment. When you're living in the moment, actions are very powerful. You can make or break someone's day with a well-placed act of kindness or just a smile while passing them on the street. The only thing that really matters, today, right now, is what you are doing at this very moment. Are you using this moment to it's very fullest or just letting another moment pass by?

M$"Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game."
Just because you fail at something doesn't mean you should give up. One is never going to be perfect at everything. Keep on trying, do the things you love, even if they sometimes don't love you back. And when you reach that point of "Oh My gosh, I did it!!!!!" you will have the best feeling of accomplishment and the intrinsic reward is much more personally valuable than a monetary one.

M$"One good deed a day"
If I can help someone at least once every day I feel like I'm trying to live a good life.
We all have our faults and weaknesses but if we can rise above them to help someone else, then I think we become better people.

M$You need to love your children
You need to love your family members (even when they borrow money all the time and don't pay you back)
You need to love your next door neighbor (who has the messiest yard in the neighborhood and keeps throwing his litter into your yard.
You need to love the guy who cuts you off in traffic, the collection agent who is harrassing you, the doctor who messed up your prescription, the man who keeps stealing your newspaper, the person overseas who has no food to eat and anyone else (however, it does not say you have to like them.)
The point here is love which is definitely a wonderful thing.

"Buddawiggi?" Well sir, I see were drinking came from. Name like that almost requires you to be the king of the keggers. Or the undefeated bong hit champion.
I kid, I kid. Speaking of which- if ever you wanted to talk OR give advice to another intellect fighting an addiction... message me.
My Dad always said "God gave you two ears and one mouth for a good reason , so you can do twice as much listening and 1/2 as much talking" .... Ya gotta love Dad logic :)
