Acer is a leading brand in the IT industry that has a hold in manufacturing laptops, desktops, notebooks, mini mobile computers and much more. However, it is their laptop range that has covered most of its market space. The Acer laptops are designed keeping in mind the general public and are therefore, more suitable for normal users, who use them merely for checking mails, run small programs, games and computing that do not require much power and space.
his netbook is easy to use and provides great convenient when you are on the road or traveling but it doesn't do much of a computing device apart from simple everyday use such as internet, web browsing, MS office, documents and store some data. However, it is what it is and for the money you pay i consider this as great value. The benefits are lightweight, mobile usages and it is a compact take anywhere netbook.
I purchased this netbook after looking through a lot of reviews of the Aspire 1 D. In all reviews, the new battery life (6 cell battery) and the bluetooth connectivity were mentioned and lauded. In fact, the additional battery life mentioned is one of the primary reasons I bought the Aspire over any other netbook.
