Absolutely it's impressive. A hitting streak of almost 30 games is pretty amazing. It's not an easy feat at all.
And unfortunately, he continued his streak with a home run tonight against my Giants.
A long hitting streak is one of the most impressive streaks in all of sports. There are definitely people who believe that DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak is the most impressive streak in any sport. I am inclined to agree. It's amazing that he was able to do that for so long.
