What do you think about reality shows?

I need some opinions about reality shows. Could you help me?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Some of them have really good scripts.

I like some of them.
Survivor-depends on the cast of characters. The show where the girls got together and tricked guy after guy was incredibly entertaining.
Amazing Race-I like it for the cultural things that we see. It's educational.
Kitchen shows-no thanks
Style shows-There is nothing better than Project Runway. It is the best reality show on TV
Big Brother-I amazed myself when I stopped watching this. I realized that I am a better person than I thought.
American Idol-I like instrumentals
Dancing With the Stars-can't dance
America's Next Inventor- so so
America's Next Big Star? (something like that)-I can't think of the name of the show with Hasselhoff and Osborne. I like it, but the results of the last contest were something of a mystery.
Beauty and the Geek-surprisingly charming

Ok I will admit it! I am a reality show junkie! I have no drama in my life so I have to get my drama from my television! I never liked Big Brother, Amazing Race or even Survivor. My favorites are Dancing with the Stars, America's Next Top Model, Rock of love, Charm School and yes I watched Flavor of Love all three years! hehe

I would really like to say that I don't watch them because they seem so dramatic but I can't. If I see an episode then I want to see the next. Even if I'm not interested in the topic (ex: modeling, cooking etc.) it just catches your interest because something "better" or more interesting is going to happen next week. They are really a waste of time.

I don't like them so much. It's a kind of lab, where we can watch people just for our fun. But, sometimes, I watch.

I believe their time has come and gone, and I'm not upset about that. While novel initially, rehashing the same tired plot-lines with slightly different (though remarkably similar) characters only works for so long.
