What do you think about Randy Moss being traded?

From the perspective of the Patriots, the trade does hurt a little bit. Most took a lot of snaps and the reason the Patriots have had success is because Moss has been heavily marked--the Pats have gone to smaller receivers like Woodbend and Welker because Moss is always heavily covered. Without Moss on the field, the focus won't be on him anymore and our 2nd and 3rd receivers will feel more pressure.
All in all, it still was a good move for the Patriots. It gave them yet another early round draft pick in next years draft (8 picks in the first four rounds--two picks per round). Bottomline, Pats are sitting fat for next year. Hopefully they can adjust to the new setting; Belichick definitely has a plan...

M$But back to reality and the Church of Bill Belichick.
The way I see it what Bill has planned for the Pats has been quite effective in the past and I have good faith that what Bill has planned for the future of the Pats will be very effective as well so acquiescing before the football wisdom of Bill Belichick is really quite easy.
Bill rescued our frail franchise and I respect his decisions now that I have seen the effectiveness of the result of those decisions. I have faith he will make the right decision here and in the future because he has made the right decision so many times in the past.
That being said if Bill feels that Randy Moss does not for any reason fit the future of the Patriots system then I have faith in Bill and that decision making me happy to see Randy go. I have faith that if Bill and the crew thought it was the right thing to do for the team then it will be the right thing to do for the team.
So after a day or so of pseudo-mourning the loss of a great player in Randy Moss I have accepted that I am but a mere neophyte in the Church of Belichick and now believe that although Randy is a great player and he might do well with the Vikings and Favre he does not fit our system and we are better off without him.

M$I live in the town over from Foxboro, Gillette Stadium, CMGI Field...whatever the flip you want to call it. When I was 8 years old, I was in the Bickford's on Route 1 on my birthday, literally two minutes from the stadium. Who walks in? Grogan...
My Dad had the balls to tell him it was my birthday. I got an autograph on a piece of random cardboard from the Bickford's kitchen. booya.
BooYaa! is right. Grogan, whether people consider him a good quarterback or not, was one of my first sports heroes and that autographed random piece of cardboard must be a prized possession to you :)
