about Eliminate Pro
What do you think about Eliminate Pro for iPhone's in-game purchase system?
First off, I am addicted to this game. Eliminate Pro is free to download for the iPhone/iPod Touch and free to play, but has an in-game purchase system to buy "Power Cells". So while it's possible to play as much as you want for free, there is incentive (faster earning of points/equipment) to buy these power cells via iTunes.
So first I wonder what you all think of the game itself, and second, if you think this new model (free games with in-game purchases) is a good thing.

Eliminate Pro is a highly polished game but it will also polish your wallet dry.

"Though this game is highly polished, with just about everything a gamer could want in an iPhone online FPS, the in-app purchase system seems too steep to me. Those who are excited about the game and want to continue to play for free will be playing a highly crippled game needing to wait 4 hours before they can earn a few more credits. Those willing to spend the money will quickly realize the game is eating up their cash quickly."

Yeah, there are many complaints that the costs of "Power Cells" is too high and the free charge waiting period too long. Though the waiting period is currently reduced by 4x (1 charge per hour for 1 round of play)
I have been enjoying the game for a while and haven't spent any money on it (yet)
