What do you put on the top of your Christmas tree?

Do you have a traditional star, an angel, a teddy bear, or maybe something that was handmade?
Tip for best answer: M$0.50
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I want to be unconventional this year.
I have always used an angel and will be trying something different.

I want to have an aqua themed tree this year with fish ornaments and have chosen an octopus as my tree topper.

A Fairy or a Star is traditional.

We have used the same tree and Star for many years - since the start is a reference to the star of Bethlehem.

I use a small angel. It's 22 years old and still in a good shape!:) Obviously, I could buy something else, but that little guy it's in my family for so long...I guess the Christmas tree will look different with something else on the top.

Depending on the years, let's say that every other year I put a Christmas arrow (don't know if it's the exact name) that makes the tree look taller ; otherwise a red Christmas star.
