What do you predict will happen on Dexter this season?
SPOILER ALERT! So, my jaw is still on the floor from the season finale of Dexter last Spring, and I just keep going back and forth trying to predict what is going to happen. Will he keep the kids? Is he going to be a suspect in his wife's murder? How will he work his way out of this one? What do you think, could this be Dexter's downfall or will he work his magic and escape any trouble?

There have been many times I thought "now he's done for", and he always seems to escape from the situation. Also, the writers seem to "forget" part of the trouble he is in. I remember at the end of season three, he dripped blood on the gown of Rita, Dexter's wife. I was sure this would be the start of the new plot for Season Four, but it was never mentioned again (at least, not until now, I am still watching the fourth season, so I'm not yet at the finale).
That really was a bummer, and I've seen that happen more often, also in season four itself. Dexter distroys the security lights outside his house in one episode, which is being seen by Rita, but there is no huge fight at the start of the next episode. It's those small things that bother me about an otherwise great series.
As for Season Five: I'm sure they will find out a way to get Dexter out. I'm just very curious what they will come up with!
