What do you mean by the “Sixth sense”?
Do you think that “extrasensory perception” and sixth sense are the same? Why & why not?

Aristotle is reputed to have defined the traditional 5 senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste and Rudolf Tischner coined the phrase "sixth sense" to refer to “extrasensory perception”.
However, both are misnomers. Neither take into account the full range of human senses, such as:
- balance;
- the sense of direction;
- the sense of the position of parts of the body;
to name but a few. There are also other senses that animals have and we are not aware of:
- detection of electric fields
- detection of magnetic flux
- pressure
- polarized light
The "sixth sense" is, therefore, a whole array of senses that we are hardly aware of.
