Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

While there are not many famous people from Hobart, the city has several famous landmarks, including Mount Wellington and the Salamanca Arts Center.

And what are the biggest landmarks/attractions in the city?
Check out Salamanca Place for fun nightlife and an excellent open air market. Then wander to Battery Point which hosts world class boats for both commercial and recreational use. If you are around during Christmas time, be sure to get in a yacht race. The Sydney-to-Hobart Race is the most popular, but more informal races happen throughout the summer.

More fun facts...
Also, it was called Hobart town until 1881. It is the most southern capital in Australia and is known for its bustling activity around its port.

I know they have good beer!

I have a friend from Taz. He's shy and reserved.

I know that Matthew Reilly's book "Hover Car Racer" is set in Hobart, somewhere in the future. It's rather good too. I recommend it.

Wikipedia's great, but I'd prefer non-user-edited sources

I think she's looking for the actual text. Posting links does not really answer her question.
