Sounds like you have to already be a "cast member" working at the resort, having established yourself over a period of time just to be considered for an interview to be an Ambassador. And then those interested must go through a pretty involved vetting process.
So the first step would be to get a gig at Disney...see if they're hiring for monorail driver! I always wanted to be the monorail driver, or the steam engine conductor who weaves through the park all day...
