Small crickets will probably be the easiest to find, almost all pet stores sell them. Mealworms will also work if the frog will eat them, if they are good and wiggly he should jump on them.

i have tried them a few times. the only problem was, is that they don't seem to interest my frog. he will look at them, and then go eat a cricket. HAHA he cracks me up. i would like to try cockroaches, but nobody sells them around me. And my apartment is clean, so no roaches there.

Anything they can catch and fit into their mouths. They have large appetites and are voracious eaters. Fruit flies, small mealworms, insects, grubs, crickets, mealworms, cockroaches, locusts, moths, beetles, and sometimes pinkie mice. Dust crickets with calcium & vitamins 3 times a week. Feed the tree frogs daily.
