What do you think about Christmas?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I love Christmas. I look at it as a time for families to show each other appreciation and love. We live in such a busy world that many times there are very few days out of a year that families will come together and just celebrate love.

I am not into the material side of Christmas. I do not like the "gimme, gimme" attitude that has swept the world and think we should think more about what we are gratefull to have, instead of complaining because of what we didn't get.

I think Christmas is great!

Christmas is the Eucharistic celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, God the Son.

The angel said to them,

"Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."

And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:

"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests." (Luke 2:10-14)

Why do people complain that some are taking Christ out of Christ but are silent about even more people are taking the Mass out of Christmas?

With love in Christ.
