What do Muslims call God?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Allah, which means “Al” (the) and “llah” (God), is the Muslim name for God. Muslims refer to Allah as the Creator of the universe. Their bible is the Qur’an and Islam is their religion. But do you know that originally, Allah was previously used by pagan Meccans as reference to a deity?

The Muslims believe in one God and thus disagrees with Christianity’s Holy Trinity. They believe that their sole purpose is to worship God. Those who can afford take the Holy pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in their lifetime. Muhammad, their prophet, was believed to be the last and the greatest amongst all other prophets who walked in the line of faith. Muslims celebrate Ramadhan because they believe this the time when Muhammad received the first verses in the Qur’an.
