What do I do if the album covers shown on my ipod are with the wrong artists?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

In iTunes.

Select (Highlight) the track that has the wrong artwork.

Then choose "Get Album Artwork".

This will only work if iTunes has the song, and you have the name correct.

You can also use the "Get Info" option in the "File" Menu and drag any image into the artwork field.

Google image search is the best place to find album artwork.

This usually happens when you sync your ipod on different computers. Even if you're on the same comp, but used the winamp plugin to sync along with iTunes, there is this problem.

To fix this, I suggest you to go to iTunes and make sure all your iPod's songs are in the media library.
Then right-click on the songs with the wrong artist info and click the get album art, this should fix things up.
And make sure you stick to iTunes after that.

Another solution is to restore your iPod to factory default and then sync with Winamp from then onwards. Personally, I don't use iTunes to sync my iPod. Winamp's a lot better!
