What disease causes this uncontrollable need to sweat all day long?

Tip for best answer: M$0.26
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The only medical problem of which I am familiar with and is related to DIABETES. However in researching your question I found there are others.
# Hyperthyroidism http://www.endocrineweb.com/conditions/hyperthyroidism/hyperthyroidism-symptoms
# Thyrotoxicosis http://www.vitaminsdiary.com/disorders/thyrotoxicosis.htm
# Pheochromocytoma http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/pheochromocytoma/DS00569
# Acromegaly http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/acromegaly/DS00478
# HYPERHIDROSIS http://www.medicinenet.com/hyperhidrosis/article.htm

Your best option to determining what is causing the problem is to speak with your physician. Prior to your visit make a list of all your symptoms (no matter how minor they may seem). Take notice as to whether any of the following have occurred and include them on your list.
1. change in bowel habits
2. change in sleep patterns
3. change in appetite
4. change in weight
5. change in vision
6. change in skin color
7. any new "spots" on your skin
8. any lumps under your armpits, mammary glands, scrotum, etc.
9. any change in the texture of your skin (extremely taut? or dimply?)

Your doctor will then know how to proceed with additional questions, tests, diagnosis, and treatment.

Best of luck to the individual with the problem.

I have a friend who sweats excessively. His body is normal buit. Even in cold place he sweats. He said he puts antiperspirant but it never works. Until he tried a program(tinyurl.com/endsweating )that is so effective as i see the effect on him. Surgery is so expensive but if you have money. why not.:)
