1. The EV conversions uses UQM military EV motors. Very power and fast accelerating motors for military vehicles.
2. A 150 KW electric propulsion system will be powering a 1959 Lincoln Continental Mark IV dubbed “Linc Volt.”
3. The converted vehicle will achieve over 100 miles per gallon versus the 10 miles per gallon of the stock vehicle.
4. The vehicles is a bio-hydro-electric series hybrid.

As of June 2008, Neil Young had spent about $120,000 on the LincVolt project, but it's unclear how much of that was related to the vehicle itself and how much was team support.
