What customs are traditional for the Christmas holidays?
What can I do to make Christmas feel more traditional? What are traditional customs that aren't practiced anymore for Christmas?

Hello m3po! Customs that are traditional for Christmas are the singing of Christmas carols, the giving of Christmas cards during the season, giving of gifts on Christmas day-December 25, as well as attendance to church evening masson the eve of Christmas . There are those whose family or friends come to gather for the dinner during Christmas eve. There is also what we call the making and display of Christmas tree even a few days before Christmas Day where people would put their gifts under the tree and even the making of Big Snowman outdoors on those chilly days . The father usually dresses and acts like Santa Claus and give gifts to his children. All these activities are being done to share and enjoy precious time with friends and loved ones and of course, to remember that it is the day that Jesus Christ, the Saviour, was born. In the church, four Advent candles will be lighted one by one for the four Sundays before Christmas day, where each Sunday is represented by one candle. The fourth candle will be lighted only on the last Sunday before December 25.
You will feel the traditional Christmas, m3po, if you have gone to families who still practice these. Although, there are some who do not practice one or two of the above, such as the giving of Christmas cards, the reunion of friends or loved ones and the make-believed Santa Claus of fathers.
I hope you will feel and experience a traditional Christmas on the next season, m3po.
