What current bands would you suggest for a 80's metal fan?
Metal music went into a comma during the grunge period. Which bands are out there today that can compare to metal music before 1993.

Metallica and Iron Maiden are still going strong. Regarding bands that were not around in the 80s I suggest trying DragonForce or Nightwish. Both have a melodic sound that has a lot in common with the 80's.
