What Country is the #1 market for Scotch in dollar terms? And in volume?

For Scotch Whisky actually made in Scotland, the biggest single market is the USA. Exports in 2008 were £371m, down 11% from 2007.
However the biggest market by volume is France with 160m 70cl bottles.
The top three by either measure are the USA, France and Spain..
