Canada has made some steps forward in securing the use of net zero construction. There are several groups and coalitions in the country that are maintaining a striving to create more and more areas with net zero housing. The EcoTerra House in Quebec is the first building that was built through CMHC EQuilibrium Sustainable Housing Competition. This house was designed by a person at Mackintosh School of Architecture. There are other houses that have been made as well and there's exceptional progress in Canada.
China has made the 71-foot Pearl River Tower which was opened in 2009.
There are a multitude of examples and the following link will provide you with the ability to check out all the countries that have and are in the process of attempting to switch to net zero and see all their accomplishments.

M$Net Zero Energy Homes use less energy than they produce. In this regard you will never be left in a situation in which you are solely dependent on non renewable energy sources such as oil. Canada and Japan have a program in which they are charging ahead to help the world rise to the occasion and have built Net Zero homes in Canada, Japan, Iceland, Korea, China and the United Kingdom.
