What comes after algebra in math?

I know what comes before algebra, but what comes after algebra in math? Thanks in advance?
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Algebra is the easiest subject for high school Math. Afterwards, you will deal with geometry and trigonometry. Higher Math will let you know formulas and more complicated concepts by heart. You will be familiar with the sin, cos, and tan. Geometry let you calculate angles. You will deal with shapes and objects that have properties. If you were able to pass algebra, you will be able to handle geometry and trigonometry as well.

As a high school student, you are required to take geometry and trigonometry. So, you must endure and survive these higher Math subjects before you can have freedom in university. In taking these higher Math subjects, your utmost patience and practice in understanding the formulas and doing it right matters. When you finish each quarter of your higher Math subjects with passing marks, you will be more confident.

After algebra is typically geometry, then second year algebra, trigonometry and then calculus. Some students will take statistics instead of calculus.

The geometry course includes basic concepts such as lines, segments, planes and angles. You will also get into proofs involving triangles, solving for the sides of right triangles, angles of traingles, ratios, proportions, congruency and similarity of polygons, circles, areas and volumes of cylinders, prisms and pyramids. You will also touch on equations of lines, basic trigonometric functions such as sine, cosine and tangent and how they are used in finding angles and sides of a triangle.

Sometimes geometric constructions are done using a ruler, protractor and compass. This is usually part of a project and no test is given on this.

Hope this helps answer your question.

I had geometry after algebra in high school. However, if you have already had geometry then you would probably have algebra 2 next. After algebra 2 comes either trigonometry or pre-calculus usually.
