The problem with fossils is, you get 99% bone. If the creature had skin, feathers, or organs, you get a very small representation of them at best. I've never known anyone to dig up a fossil and find out what color skin or feathers the creature had, just because of the way fossils are preserved (the chemical process destroys all original bone matter and makes all the results about the same color as the surrounding stone). nobody knows what color Iguanodon was. Probably green - greenish brown - or brown. But maybe it was pink polkadot with orange.
Did you know they originally thought he walked on 4 legs and had a horn?
