What city in the world has the most hotels?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

According to today.msnbc.msn.com, "New York City has more hotels on the list of top 100 hotels in the continental U.S. and Canada than any other city. The top-ranked NYC hotel is the St. Regis at No. 22 on list of top hotels in continental U.S. and Canada."

Along with New York and LA, London and Paris from Europe have a huge number of hotels.
Alternatively, the most expensive ones have been in Moscow, Russia, at least until 2008.
