What Christmas Movies did you watch this year?

So I'm happy to announce that we did get around to watching 12 Christmas specials this year as previously mentioned in this thread, I am sure you are all anxious to know which ones we went with...

1. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
2. Elf
3. Mickey's Christmas Carol
4. Muppets Christmas Carol
5. A Muppet Family Christmas
6. Scrooged
7. Ref
8. South Park Christmas in Canada
9. Denis Leary Christmas Special
10. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
11. Jim Carry's Grinch
12. Babes in Toyland (which I don't recommend to anybody)

What ones did you watch this year?, Which do you recommend?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I somehow got hooked on the movies on the Hallmark channel. Most of them are sappy and the actors always 'over-act'. But I had this chanel on while I was putting up the decorations & all these memories of my family washed over me. So since then I've been a sucker. Let's see if I can even remember some of the titles, "Call Me Mrs. Miracle" "Farewell Kris Kringle" (or was it Mr. Kringle? not sure.) "Fallen Angel" "Mistletoe and Moonlight", and more that I can't recall. I only recommend these movies if you are in the mood for something light on plot and heavy on the sap. Or if you need a good cry--a lot of them are tear jerkers....in a sappy, sentimental way.

I watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Muppets Christmas Carol with my four year old nephew. He was attentive and he did not ask for any of his toys during the movies.

I recommend both movies
