Oh Firefly for sure!

Wow was I disappointed to find out there was only ONE season! I know the fans complained and we got the movie Serenity but not the same folks, not the same. The cast were bummed out, they all said it was one of the best shows they had ever been in...

And...one of th BEST ships I've ever seen in space, I'd love one yes thank you

http://www.fireflyshipworks.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Firefly-Series1-31.jpg

And a very cool cast. A pity some of them get killed off in the movie but they worked really well together in the series. I've always wondered about the Preacher's history, never really got revealed...

http://www.ost-center.fr/contenu/jaquettes/serie-tv/firefly_ost.jpg

And if you haven't seen the movie Serenity you should, it helps finalize some of the story but it's awesome to watch as a stand alone movie as well...

Yup, ya beat me to it. So I just voted for your answer and gave you a tip. Firefly needs to come back. But how to arrange it in between Castle, V, and Chuck productions is the question.

Fox sucks when it comes to canceling good shows after a season when they put them on a friday night death slot.

I think the LCD has something to do with it as well.

It's funny cause I just finished watching the series again about a week ago. Darn it!

This is what I would have went with for best answer, but popular opinion beat me to it. Firefly was one hell of a show that went way before it's time. It is such a shame when a show isn't given nearly enough time to get going before it's canceled.

I was going to answer, but you beat me to it! Firefly was pure genius, and they were very foolish to cancel it. Still incredibly awesome awesome stuff. I second your motion. :-)

Well I would love to see Heros back. I know that it started as basically just a filler for in between their hot shows' season. Then it became pretty popular so they made it last longer. I think it was terrible how they ended it, they should have at least given us one last season or at least one last episode!

I'd like to see Boris resurrected. "Boris" ran six seasons on CBS from 1973 - 78, and starred Boris as Det. Boris Brakovic, a no-nonsense Russian-American cop at a tough New York precinct.

quoted from : http://www.joedator.com/borismovie
"In April 1973 the producing team of Eugene Ward and Gunner Anderson approached the heads of programming at CBS with an innovative concept. CBS, they reasoned, was the preferred network of senior citizens, and the two things senior citizens love the most were detective shows and cats. Their idea was to combine the two: they would create a show about a detective who is a cat.
This is that show.

"Boris" ran six seasons on CBS from 1973 - 78, and starred Boris as Det. Boris Brakovic, a no-nonsense Russian-American cop at a tough New York precinct.

The show earned several Emmys including one for Isaac Hayes' brilliant score.

In the first season, Boris' real-life sister Blizzard played his partner Det. Karen Ruzzetti, but audiences at the time found the idea of a female detective too unbelievable. She was replaced in later seasons by Ray Martingold.

Veteran character actor Archibald Gleason joined the cast as Lt. McCafferty midway through the first season, after another actor dropped out due to allergies.

Boris and Blizzard were reunited in the 1981 made-for-TV movie "Boris: Tail Of A Killer", which is still shown occasionally on the USA Network.

Unfortunately the series is not yet available on DVD. "

Arrested Development. It is hands down, the funniest show I've ever watched. Not to mention the most quotable.

It is hilarious. At least you can still see it on IFC and Hulu (and online at Netflix). I can't believe I didn't watch this one in its prime.

This is random, and probably something no one else remembers....but there was a show on a couple years ago called "Miss Guided" about a high school guidance counselor. It only lasted for half a season, apparently, even though it got decent reviews and ratings. It was smart and funny, and one of the most realistic portrayals of teacher stuff I've ever seen.

X Files...
This show was the best and still ranks high on the Sci-Fi TV show list in my books...Mulder is the best character created and with Duchovney on board he can't be touched.

Caprica was great. I thought it started out slowly and knew in my heart the audience wouldn't stay with it - they never do for the more complicated sci fi stories ( like Firefly )

My top two are "Surface" only one season with Lake Bell and "Farscape" with Ben Browder, Claudia Black and Gigi Edgley with a huge fan base but cancelled because of the cost involved with making the series. "Farscape" is considered one of, if not the best Sci Fi series of all time.

My son and daughter were very into Kyle XY. I had never taken a second to sit down and watch it with them. I had thought it was pretty "kiddish" and did not believe it would interest me. We bought the kids all three seasons of Kyle XY when it went off the air. One night, nothing was on TV, so we watched the first show of the first season with the kids. To my surprise we were hooked immediately. We sat down a few nights a week to watch a couple episodes, each time. We watched every episode of all three seasons within a month and half.

I can now say, Kyle XY was one of the best family shows we have ever seen. I WISH they would bring it back or make a movie!!

Kt, I think that is why I loved Kyle, it was so lovey dovey and really hit home on many issues, LOVE a good cry!:)

And @Knowsalot I agree. It was the last show I thought I would like. It is so strange that all four of us here loved it, that is rare. I agree, I want more, resolution would be awesome!

I never would have thought I would get addicted to a family drama, but Kyle XY is solid. You find yourself really relating to different characters at times. Then theres the similarities between my life and Kyle's. They still need to provide us fans with some resolution to everything.

You have great taste, Gina!

I liked Kyle KY but thought it got a bit repetitive and too lovey dovey back and forth

a good family show though :)

What about Studio 60? Can I get a second?

My instant pick would have to be "Space Rangers", a little-known sci-fi show from the early 90's that was canceled after just four (!) episodes, and has since become something of a cult classic. It was one of the funniest, best-done low-budget series I've ever seen, with engaging characters and interesting plots.

I'd also have to say I'd like to see "Earth 2" resurrected, and yes, both Firefly and Farscape, although without the lesbian Companion crap in Firefly and the soap-opera melodrama of Farscape's last two seasons.

Another one I'd love to see return (and unfortunately I can't remember the name) is a detective story set in New York? or London, can't remember which, where the one of the detective is a dwarf, and they investigate the supernatural. It was a comedy, and was extremely clever, but got canceled after less than one season. Does anyone remember the show I'm thinking of?

And finally, my dream-come-true would be a prime-time animated miniseries produced by Steven Spielberg that came out in the late 90's, called "Invasion America". It ran for a few weeks and disappeared, and although you can find it on the internet, it was never actually finished- no one completed the animation or the story. But it's haunted me for years, because it was one of the best stories I've ever seen, hands down!

I would like the Indian TV show We the People resurrected again. Thei show was almost a phenomenon, and cateredto a wide section of Indian population. The characters were very natural, and drawn from the lower and upper strata of Indian society. The show criticized the social evils without any ill-will, and very gently.

I am going to have to go with Reba. It was really funny, and something you could have on at any time of day. It really had a great cast and was something we looked forward to watching when new shows came on I was so sad to see they canceled it, even though it was one of the highest rated shows on CW. RIP REBA.
