All you need to do, to record live TV with Windows 7, is to follow this simple steps;
*First you would need; A TV tuner (this is a device that connects to your computer through an external expansion port), and a TV signal source (which can be a cable TV jack or a TV antenna).
* Once you are ready to record the live TV show or program, simple Click on the Start button (which is the windows icon, with for colors)
*Click on ‘’All Programs’’, and then click on ‘’Windows Media Center’’.
*On the start screen of the Windows Media Center, scroll over to ‘’TV’’, and then click on ‘’ Live TV’’.
