What can I use to make a simple and easy glaze for a baked ham?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Here are a few easy glazes:

Baked Ham Maple Glaze
1 tablespoon mustard
2/3 cup real maple syrup

Pineapple Glaze
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup well drained crushed pineapple

Honey and Brown Sugar Ham Glaze
2/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon prepared mustard

Brown Sugar Glaze: Mix 1 cup brown sugar (packed), 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard and 1 tablespoon vinegar. About 3/4 cup.

A can of Coke or 7Up is extremely simple and easy. Just pour on before you put it in the oven. Some people prefer to reserve 1/2 the can to pour on 1/2 hour before it's done.

Not very fancy, but extremely simple.

My aunt does it every holiday. I've always wanted to try it with root beer.

3/4 cup of packed brown sugar
1/2 to 3/4 c. orange or pineapple juice or mixed
3/4c. honey
This can be adjusted depending on your personal taste. I like to lessen the brown sugar and increase the juice.

Mix thoroughly and glaze ham about a 1/2 hour and then 15 minutes before done.

However this site has some more steps than what I do.
