You have ended up with uneven pressure being applied to one corner of your screen. Push your finger on any other portion and you'll see what I mean.
What will happened ? Your screen will start to turn a variety of different colors and needs to be replaced
If you're looking of buying a laptop you should check out this site first http://www.screencountry.com. I got my Acer Lcd screens from them for $90 including shipping. I am the furthest thing from a "techie" and yet I was able to find the correct monitor, order it, remove the broken screen and replace it with the new one. I was pleased and the price was right too!
