What browser are you currently using?

I was asked that they other day when my computer was acting up what browser I was using. Well I have pretty much taught myself what I thought I needed to know to run this machine, but my answer was Internet Explorer XP LOL. The XP I guess I got from Windows l because thats what windows I use windodows XP . So, I thought I would ask everyone and see what browser they are using here on Mahalo.
Tip for best answer: M$2.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I use FireFox on Windows Vista because for me and my time on Mahalo it makes the online experience fast, easy, and more enjoyable. Add-ons like Tin-Eye and CoolPreviews make Mahalo more functional.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
http://www.coolpreviews.com/
http://www.tineye.com/

With Tin-Eye any image search is a click away and I have located its other posting on the web and can uses these sources to further my investigation into the question asked with greater speed and reliability than if I were to have to use more general search terms in Google or another image search engine. Tin-Eye gets to the bottom of it much more efficiently.

I simply use CoolPreviews more than any other add-on. Hovering the cursor over any link opens the link in a usefully sized pop-up with a bunch of functions. The highlighted term search is the most customizable and functional here on Mahalo without it many of the searches required to answer a question would take longer and require more open tabs and/or windows. Picture in Picture Browsing with all the additional functions of the PIP browser window is what really makes the FireFox add-on great here on Mahalo and around the web.

Below is a sample pop up of the Picture in Picture and a look at the highlighted term customizable search which is my most used feature of CoolPreviews.

edit ~ even to edit this answer I just hovered over the "edit" button and "pop up" I am quickly editing the answer.

I tried using FireFox and had nothing but trouble with it. Maybe it depends on your computer I do not know.

I'm using IE explorer. It seems great to me, with all of it's custom features like colored (grouped) tabs. I was using firefox, but it gave me problems. I also like opera browser as well.

I use Chrome to surf at home and Internet Explorer at work. I also prefer to use internet explorer for online banking and all my online transactions.

I switched to Firefox a few years ago when I was having all kinds of problems with Internet Explorer. I like firefox so much more. I find it works better and has much more capabilities than IE however I do have one problem that is annoying with FF - I can't seem to get Adobe Flash Player to load and therefore have to go to IE whenever I want to view some videos or participate in some online video/chat rooms.

Right now I have the latest version of Firefox and Windows 7 and lovin' it.
