What brand of designer sunglasses will protect my eyes from UV rays?

I'd like to buy some designer sunglasses, but also want them to offer protection against the harmful sun rays. Cataracts run in my family, and I heard that exposure to sunlight and uv rays can increase the chances. I want some sunglasses that look stylish and attractive, yet offer 100% protection from the both UVA and UVB light. Will wrap around glasses help even more? Are some tints of lenses better than others? What tints in sunglasses should be avoided? What are the benefits of polarized lenses and mirrored lenses?

There are a few designer sunglasses that offer UV protection. One is Oakley that contains Plutonite that filters out 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC. Ray Ban Sunglasses also offers UV protection. SOS or Survival Optics Sunglasses also offer 100% full spectrum ultraviolet protection. Polarized lenses reduce glare. Unless they're specifically treated with UV coating, polarized lenses don't offer UV protection. Mirror-coated lenses help block visible light, but they don't necessarily block UV radiation.
