What artist created the collection of cartoon-style avatars so many Mahalo citizens are using?
Seems like a lot of people here are using avatars from a collection created by a single cartoonist. Who is the artist that created these? How did this artist's avatars become so popular at Mahalo?

Back in Spring of 09 when I started here Mahalo prompted every user who signed up to use WeeMee when making an avatar, you didn't have too but we were prompted too.
For a while as well the staff all had WeeMee avatars and the one way to distinguish a Mahalo staff member was the beach or surf related background they all used in creating their avatars.
Take for instance @mike he once was a Mahalo staff member.

aha! exactly the info i was wondering about. so many avatars chosen from the same place, and i knew that couldn't be a coincidence.
that site is pretty fun. i went through the avatar creation template for myself, but came up with something that looked more like drag diva than a real girl...think i'll stick with my current avatar for now :-)
Mine was awful too. I have looked around this laptop but can't find it.. probably best left alone anyway.
