1. Marathon (it finally came out for the PC didn't it? It was native Mac originally - for a change.) Yes, I played it the day it was released.

M$1. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR): BioWare game full of ingenuity, moral choices, consequences, exciting gameplay, and brilliantly written story.
2. Morrowind: Huge world, very open-ended, engaging quests, exciting combat, beautiful cities, and I love the personality test at the beginning to see what class you should be.
3. Call of Duty: Classic WWII FPS game, love it, can always play it, my favorite is either the original or Call of Duty 2
4. Sims 3: Or any of the Sims for that matter. The creativity and options available make it an enjoyable experience. My favorite part was playing for a long time so that my Sims started taking over the neighborhood.
5. Mass Effect (1 and 2): BioWare, once again, really does it for me. They're probably my favorite company because they include such in-depth stories, great dialog, intense combat, and ridiculously fun gameplay (not to mention consequences for decisions, I love that).
6. Monkey Island: (Okay, so I'm adding on a bit) Monkey Island is such a classic game that I couldn't not put it on the list. It's brilliant just due to its witty dialog and hilarious moments that are unforgettable. It also really makes the mind dig for solutions to challenges.
7. World of Warcraft: Who could deny the huge MMORPG giant that's taken over so many lives? It's endless gameplay, fun PvP, and enjoyable leveling is what makes me love it.
8. Dragon Age: Another BioWare product full of in-depth story, incredibly detailed companion characters, moral choices, consequences, and brilliant dialog.
Okay, I'll stop there! Each one of those are definitely worth playing and re-playing.

M$I love the Indiana Jones games series (but only the old ones), they have so much wit in them. I also liked Loom, Duke Nukem, Tiger Wheels, TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance, Rebellion, and such. Lots of fun to play. Sometimes, graphics really don't matter.
I love Knights of the Old Republic. I thought the story was at least on par with the 5th and 6th Star Wars movies, if not better.
Great choices. What do you like for old school or indy games?
I used to be really addicted to Monkey Island. I love the story, the adventure, the visuals, and the dialogue too.

Good choices! I played Half-Life with the Orange Box for 360, and forgot it was originally a PC game.
Yes, Marathon was a Mac game at first. Bungie used to develop exclusively for the Mac back in the day. In fact, I believe Halo was slated to be a Mac game way back when -- how crazy would that have been? :)
Thanks, I hope you enjoy the new game. Read a review here: http://www.gamerevolution.com/review/pc/black-and-white
If you have one of Immersions Ifeel mice it works with B&W too! (Force Feedback Technology)
I remember playing Marathon on Mac soooo long ago. I have never tried Black&White, maybe I'll give that a shot. Thanks!
