What are your top 3 Honeymoons destinations on a budget of $5,000 ?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I married/honeymooned in Hawaii, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone. The islands are so diverse that you can have totally different experiences on each of the islands. For urban glamour, go for a hotel on Waikiki Beach on Oahu. For a peaceful getaway, rent a cottage on the south coast of Kauai. For more adventure, go to the big island and check out Volcano National Park.

Hawaii has beaches, rainforests, deserts, and so much more. I'd also recommend helicopter tours for the Big Island, it's the best way to see the lava from Kilauea.

A cruise is always a good way to go. There is lot of variety out there on both amenities and places to go. If you go on the off season you will be surprised on all the amenities you can afford. Sandals is having a 65% off sale right now and have some all inclusive vacations available for under $3,000. They often have sales on their vacations. As for my favorite, we holed up in a cabin in the woods and spent much less then $3,000! You can find nice cabins just about anywhere. Some are really more like houses then cabins. It is very romantic and economical!

Hawaii, or the Bahamas. You can save a lot of money with a vacation rental, as opposed to a hotel. Not only are the rates cheaper, but you save money on food buy cooking small meals for yourself throughout the day.
