What are your thoughts on the lack of expandable storage on the nexus S ? Has google done itself in ?

I really think this is a bad move, most mobile devices (tablets, phones, laptops) should have expandable storage. It's hard enough to trade out hard drives, but when a simple memory stick can double (or more) the storage space it's a great feature!!

They should have added it in.

If the objective is to have a development phone, then having a phone with a consistent hardware configuration is a positive. And let us not forget that the iPhone has no expandable storage, and people seem to mostly be happy with it. I don't think it is a big deal. It's a minor annoyance. I'd rather have the option to add space, but it's not a dealbreaker.
