What are your thoughts on iMedix site and do you believe Mahalo will buy them?

Why or why not do you see Mahalo Answers partnering with this company or buying them, or how about buying or partnering with Wellsphere?   Do you see these health related sites as competing with Mahalo Answers or simply another site you can go to an ask questions specifically about health related matters
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Personally, I don't see Mahalo buying out a company like that, it would defeat the purpose of everyday people searching for everyday things. Too much faith can be put on sites like those, (or any medical, financial etc) website and decisions that could affect a person's health or well-being for the rest of their life. I firmly believe that when a person is sick, they should see their doctor. Everyone knows when they answer a health question here to question it and not take it as an absolute truth. But the man behind the curtains over there might not know more than we do, and that's too much of a liability for Mahalo to deal with.

This blog post I found about it can be summed up into one word: Creepy!

Although I love Mahalo, I believe that iMedix provides greater value then Mahalo when it comes to health information and questions and answers. See the following video http://www.imedix.com/static/Demos/iMedixAtHealth20.html
