What are your opinions on 2012 the movie?

Has anyone else seen it? I saw it last night and thought it was a very good movie. The graphics were very well done and it had tons of action scenes. I loved the California destruction scene, best part of the movie in my opinion.
What did you think? Did you like it? What are your thoughts or opinions on the theory the movie is based on?

Before I went to see the ‘’2012 Movie’’, I was really expecting a film that would put life into the Mayan prophecies of 2012. Well, I was disappointed because it was not anything like the prophesies.

From what I saw in the movie, I want to believe that the director Roland Emmerich does not believe in any of the prophecies of the predicted disasters in 2012; he just wanted to make a good disaster film, which is exactly what this movie was. I liked the movie and the choice of actors for the various characters, especially John Cusack and Woody Harrelson

I do not believe that anyone can actually predict the exact date that the world is going to end. It is the greatest misery of mankind, and the more we pry into it, the more difficult it becomes and the more confused we get. So it’s better to live your life like it’s going to end today.
