What are your ideas for some killer features of a restaurant coupon website? iPhone integration, self service...?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Phone integration with location aware service would be perfect. it would be pretty simple to query the phone for current location and the return a range of coupons based on distance. i did exactly that for a travel app i made on the iphone.

I have a fast food coupon site, and I think it would be really helpful to get iPhone integrated into it. It would bump up the traffic to the site, and allow people to access it when they are actually at the restaurant.

Location features will be really important. You could have a map (it *must* be iPhone compatible, though), for example, that lists all of the restaurants within a certain area (that the user enters in, or, if you're building a native iPhone app, that the iPhone GPS could detect) that have coupons available.

I believe I heard somewhere once that airlines were considering allowing passengers open up boarding passes on their cell phones which would be scanned without ever printing anything out. That could be cool for restaurant coupons, if we're talking iPhone integration. I can't see it being a billion-dollar industry, but it'd be a cool service, and I'd certainly try it out.
