What are your first five songs on ipod shuffle?

What are everybody's first five songs when you put shuffle on your ipod. Just a quick gimmicky activity and it showcases the musical talent we have. I've got:-

ENYA - How Can I Keep From Singing?
MASSIVE ATTACK - A Prayer For England
LITHUM PROJECT - Super Pro Keds - Sie
RAJ BRAR - Ghagara Gulabhi Rang Da (Drum N Bass Mix)
THE ROLLING STONES - Honky Tonk Woman

Tip for best answer: M$0.75
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Neat question @edwardclint. I was very interested to see what would pop up on my iPod. I have a huge variety of music ranging from techno, bluegrass to classical.

So this is what I got in my shuffle results:

1. Walking on Clouds: DJ Tiesto from the Just Be album.
I love DJ Tiesto. He is up there on my most favorite of all time. Most of his music makes me want to dance, but this song is a bit more slower and just makes me happy.

2. Irreplaceable: Beyonce
This song has some special meaning to me. At a drag show in Louisville some of my foreign friends started singing this with their horrible accents. It was funny. Even though the song is about breaking up, it still reminds me of our fun times.

3. Kiss You All Over: Exile
This is one country song I actually love. I live in Kentucky and there are a lot of redneck bars. I used to go to some when I was younger (not proud of this, just nothing else to do) This was one song I was always glad to hear. So this is my big redneck bar song.

4. Loves Me Like a Rock: Paul Simon
I love this little son. I sung to my son when we was a baby. Now he tells me to hush when I sing. :-P.

5. Iris (acoustic): Goo Goo Dolls
This song just makes me extremely sad. I listen to it when I need to cry. It pushes me over the edge.

OK, first of all, I cheated a little bit. I do not have an iPod, an iPod Shuffle, an iPod Nano, or even an iPod Touch. What I do have here is much better than any of those, IMO, and it is a Microsoft Zune HD. (Yes, I said Microsoft....GTFO.) Without getting into the debate of who has the better music player and why, here are the first five songs that appear on my Zune when I turn it on and hit shuffle:

1. "Run Like Hell" --Pink Floyd

2. "Dancing Into Danger"--Inker and Hamilton (How on earth did that get there?)

3. "That's the Way Love Goes"--Janet Jackson

4. "Corona and Lime"--Schwayze

5. "Paparazzi" --Lady Gaga

As you can see, we have a wide variety of musical genres and artists represented. There is a little bit of the Eurythmics mixed with No Doubt, Guns and Roses, Limp Bizkit, and even R Kelly.

Hi! I do not actually have my own iPod yet, but I use my son's iPod often.
I actually use the iPod more than he does.

Our songs are:
Life is Beautiful by Sixx AM
Home Chris Daughtry
Broken Road Rascal Flatts
Snuff by Slipknot
Carry You Home by James Blunt

I tend to LOVE a song and listen to it over and over again until I can not stand it anymore. We add new songs often.

My recent favorite song is Familiar Taste of Poison, her voice is absolutely beautiful and it gives me goose bumps! The band is Halestorm. I am going to have my son add it to our list of songs! If you have not yet heard this song you should really listen to it!
She has the voice of an angel!

I love music and I have many songs in my list. I have to make a rundown on them because I find it hard to choose the top 5 on the list. I usually make my own playlist because sometimes I like to listen to mellow songs and love songs, instrumental songs, slow rock, Christian alternative, pop, hip hop, rap, and 80s songs!

I have on my list at the moment are the songs:
1. Pyramid by Charice, I learned to like this song not because I want to feel much younger but because my daughter love this. They actually put this song in "repeat once" mode that most times it stuck in my head.

2. Bless the Broken the Road by Rascall Flatts, I love this band and I particularly like the lyrics of this song. Can't seem to get enough of this.

3. Cherish by Kool & The Gang. This song makes me nostalgic for it reminded me of my high school days.

4.
by Jack Wagner, another 80s song which I love to sing with.

5. And Journey's Faithfully is a classic one and remains to be among the top on my list. I love the lyrics and the

This is a really good question and it actually got me to break out the shuffle option on my IPod which I don’t really do all that often. I will say I had to cheat a little bit because I can hook my IPod up to my car stereo system and I use it quite a lot when I’m traveling so I have quite a few audiobooks on there. Since chapters of books aren’t exactly interesting fare when it comes to the shuffle, I skipped past those when they came up. Here’s the five “songs” that came up when I shuffled:
1. Because: The Beatles
2. Makes no sense at all: Outkast
3. My love for you is real: Ryan Adams
4. Tomorrow Morning: Jack Johnson
5. House of the rising sun: Public Enemy

Hi @ edwardclint, your question actually made me run a quick shuffle on my iPod. I have lots of favorite songs. So I knew that anyone that comes up as the first five on my shuffle would be a good one for me.
Well, the first five songs on my iPod were:

*Celine Dion’s ‘’ It's All Coming Back to Me Now’’: this song was a great hit and anytime I listen to it, I remember the first time I heard it. My sister used it to win a karaoke contest and the song stuck to me.

*Michael Jackson’s ‘’ Speechless’’: If you have heard this song, you would understand why I have it in my iPod. Nice lyrics right?

*Mariah Carey’s ‘’Hero’’: this song lifts my spirit up, and I was glad it came up on the list

*Kool and the Gang’s ‘’Celebration’’: oldies, yes, I love them too.

*Usher's ''U-turn: This makes me put on my dancing shoes.
