What are your favorite sites for "Web Browser Games"?
What are your favorite websites for browser based games (that don't require a particular operating system, just a standard web browser)?
Also, if you know of any related pages on Mahalo that would be good to add, please let me know!
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Pogo is an amazing and huge web browser gaming community. It's backed by EA Games, the very famous gaming producers, so it has deep pockets behind it.
You can play hundreds of games for free (and see a harmless ad now and then), or you can pay for their upgraded "Club Pogo".
Here are some of the games you can play on Pogo:
-Several types of solitaire
-Casino games (no real bet made, only with Pogo tokens)
-Card games (canasta, pinochle, hearts, euchre, etc.)
-Puzzle games
-Word games
-Sports games
....and more
Even better yet, you can win prizes. Most games have a real cash jackpot you can win (although, boy is that rare!), or a series of other prizes to win during a jackpot spin, including prizes, Pogo swag, and computer wallpapers and screensavers.
Even when you don't win anything, you earn Pogo tokens, which you can cash in for avatar dress-up items, or entries in more cash contests.
It's a great community, and an amazing looking site. The games are gorgeous and creative! I think you'll really enjoy it!

M$As for actual game sites, I'm a fan of Conquer Club (www.conquerclub.com), Kdice (www.kdice.com), and Kingdom of Loathing (www.kingdomofloathing.com). The first two are either Risk clones or similar in gameplay, and the second is a text-based MMO with equal parts wackiness and hilarity. It's one of the best things on the Web.

M$I manage Free Racing Games and How to Download Free Games if you'd like to add them as related pages. I've already added Web Browser Games to the Related sections on both. If you have any other relevant Mahalo links that you would like in the Related Pages area of any of my pages, feel free to let me know.

M$1. All browser games.
2. Multiple genres including Strategy/Defense, Adventure/RPG, Shooter, Puzzle, Action, Sports, Multiplayer, Music/More.
3. A chatroom that runs to the side while you play.
4. Badge/Award system. You gain points as an overall user just for playing. You gain points for achieving specific goals in most of the games.
5. You can read other user comments about the game (like YouTube comments).
6. Your game is saved locally so you can go back and play again where you left off.
Some are simple, many are quite complex. It's been fun!
I don't have a favorite one, but my favorite category is Adventure/RPG.

M$If you need something with more depth to it, then New Grounds is a great place to start. Armor Games; also delivers quality content.
If Flash games begin to bore you, (there's only so much you can create with flash) then visit Shockwave . The games here run on Abobe Shockwave Player and tend to be more complex, and thus more interesting than Flash Games.
Hope that helps

M$Anyways, my absolute favorite site to play web browser games is newgrounds.com. All the games are made from users who make up the newgrounds community. They have the highest quality web browser games I have played. (maybe because most of them are pros with adobe flash).

M$I enjoy Newgrounds over Kongregate because they have a very nice theme to their website, all of the games on that website are made by the people that post them, and they have a great forum, which covers anything from Politics to Video Games to General things. (I suggest you don't let children under the age of 16 on the forum, because some of the things aren't very age-appropriate.) It is also nice because if you were a learning game programmer or something of that nature you can PM (Private Message) the maker of a certain flash you are interested in about how they made the flash, and they can give you advice and things, or you can just simply leave a comment on someone's flash or audio submission.
Newgrounds has also recently released an Art Portal, where you can submit drawings or sketches, and people (Like on Flash and Audio submissions) can rate an comment on your artwork.
tl;dr version: Newgrounds is great because you can submit flash, audio and art made by yourself, and people can rate or comment on it. Also they have a great forum.

M$Thanks @soundboy,
I added Free Online Games to my categories.
I also found Online Games after I created the page and asked this question.
I had tried to find other related terms before I created the page, but it can be difficult.
And thanks for the Cartoon Network Link. I am planning to have a section for kids games on this page as well as a separate page on games for kids.

M$Armorgames is a great place to play all my favorite online flash games. They add new games each week and are always looking for more fun games to add to the site.
