What are your favorite Jackie Chan movies?

I have been a big fan of Jackie Chan when he was just making Chinese movies like "The Drunken Master". My sister and I often watch his movies in theaters and were fascinated by his kung fu prowess plus the humor that comes with it. Ever since then, I am already a big fan of him and never fail to watch his movies. He has made several movies but my favorite are Armour of God and Forbidden Kingdom.

Wow! @ Annelisle, great question. My dad was and is still one of Jackie Chan’s greatest fan. I grew up with his movies in the house and we all loved it.

With Jackie’s films you can be confused when asked to pick a favorite. But I will give you some of my favorite films starring Jackie Chan

*the medallion: here Jackie starred as A Hong Kong detective who suffered a fatal accident due to his involvement with a mysterious medallion that later transformed him into an immortal fighter with great superhuman powers. Hilarious as every other film he has acted

*wheels on meals: here Jackie acted as a joint owner of a mobile restaurant with his cousin. The film is basically humorous as he, his cousin and a friend called Moby, goes to rescue a beautiful pickpocket lady that was captured by an evil gang.

*Rush hour:

*Drunken master:

*police story (AKA super cop):

It is hard to believe that He does not need stuntmen for his movies, but the truth is that he is a stuntman himself. Every movie he had featured in were done without a stuntman, and one thing I like about his films is the part after the film had ended, were we get to see a glimpse of the making of the video.

All Jackie Chan’s movies have a sense of humor that is subtle enough to be funny without making you feel you were being forced to laugh.

I have always been such a huge fan of Jackie Chan, and all of his movies I can honestly say I found some sort or joy and amusement out of. I have even watched a few of his movies in his native language, and found those to be interesting as well! If I had to actually break it down and choose some of my most favorite movies by him, that would be very hard! I would have to say that the Rush Hour movies would be very high on the list, as they were some of his first movies to really take a part in, and he was great and became introduced! With that said, I still say it is too hard to actually pick one though, so other than that I would have to say ALL!

My favorite movie so far from Jackie Chan is 'Rush Hour' and I know that seems so typical American. I did find the movie to be funny and it had a nice amount of action in it. Something that is a relief from the drama type movies I normally watched. I am sure there are much better, but so far I have only watched about 5 of his movies.

I would love to see 'The Forbidden Kingdom'. I am a big fan of Jet Li, so that should be a movie for me to see. I am curious about Chan's role in The Karate Kid 2010. I wonder how this movie compares with the original. I think it will be hard to top. I dislike when producers remake older movies that I loved. I usually don't like it one bit.

My favorite Jackie Chan movies are:

Drunken Master
Rumble in the Bronx
Rush Hour
Supercop

Jackie Chan has a huge resume before most people outside of Hong Kong got to know him. I have only seen a fraction of the work he has done.

though i am not a regular fan of this guy. last week my self saw a movie named The Karate Kid and it was been a fine movie remake. this movie does have more adventure and here Jackie Chan plays a role of a teacher who given the courage to a young boy to fight his evil force. and also it was a fine drama, so for me it was the best and favorite of him. any one can now see it and pretty good movie.
