My top three choices are as follows:

1. The Beat by Burberry --- Not too strong but not too light with a sparkling floral wood scent. It's fun, dynamic, and expressive. I can wear this during work and while going out. I don't ever need to spray a lot and the bottle is very cool and simple. I'm so in love with this I purchased a second since I had an insider coupon at Bloomingdales. My friend works at a Bloomingdales makeup counter and says that this one has been selling like crazy despite being pricier than some other options.

2. 24 Faubourg and Héritage Perfume by Hermes--This is a superb selection. Many people have complimented me on it and it smells divine. It features a perfect blend of woody, floral, and citrus scents and I consider it to be one of the more sophisticated perfumes out there (Princess Diana apparently wore this which is what motivated me to try it out). Honestly, it's radiant and sensual but does cost a bit more. However, it's still worthwhile in my opinion!

3. Organza perfume for women by Givenchy -- Let me tell you something. I was a bit hesitant about this one because it came out in 1996. I didn't want to use some age-old scent. However, with its flowery and oriental aura, this fragrance is just so elegant. It's feminine without relying too much on floral components. I liked the fact that it blends honeysuckle, amber, nutmeg, and vanilla with gardenia. I wear this usually during the daytime but it's good enough for evening (I just enjoy mixing things up is all). It's truly lovely and I think it's a staple on any woman's dresser.

Another one I enjoy is Britney Spear's Fantasy. Honestly, the bottle is a gorgeous shade of hot pink and decorated with Swarovski crystals. It's very floral and fun but it's more of a summer or spring scent so I wouldn't recommend this for winter holidays.

My favorite, that I buy my girlfriend every year, is Pure Poison by Christian Dior. It smells absolutely gorgeous on her and every girl that I have smelled it on. I make her wear every time I see her because it smells that good.

Now if only our computers could transmit smell, I would show you how good it truly is.

I love the scent of vanilla. Anything vanilla. It's warm and inviting, and of course, a part of many holiday treats!
Vanilla Chai secret body spray is my absolute favorite. It's a perfect combination!

For winter I love this fragrance, Cristobal by Balenciaga. It is so warm and secretive... like walking into an intimate room during a formal house party.
I attached some reviews.

Personally, I've always loved the smell of Obsession and Eternity on women...although it IS heavily dependant on the girl. Body chemisty and personality do play a huge role on whether the perfume "fits"

I love "Beautiful" by Estee Lauder. It's light and elegant. There's also "Happy" by Liz Claiborne; great for when you want something that smells good that's not too fancy.

Romance by Ralph Lauren ....Heaven in a bottle, I'm telling you. It's the perfect balance between sweet, soft girl and sexy, tranquilizing woman! Awkward descriptions, I know, but I can't get enough of it and that's what I think it smells like!

I own it!

My favorite would have to be Origins Ginger Essence. The ginger scent is crisp and fresh but also a little bit rich and sweet while the hints of bergamot, lemon and lime are nice and subtle so they don't overpower the base scent.

It's nice for the holiday season because it's smell is kind of a pick-me-up/wake-up one that seems warm and sweet in the cold wintry weather without being offensively strong or chemically smelling.
