What are the top 3 Google Chrome extensions?

Due to popular demand, Google released extensions for it's Chrome browser last year. This was probably due to the adoption rate of Mozilla Firefox and it's extensions.

What are the top 3 Chrome extensions, by number of downloads? What are your favorite extensions? My extension list isn’t too long and I’m looking for some good ones.

I personally use Google Translate, Stumble Upon, Google Voice, and Cooliris. I also use Facebook Fixer which runs in the background and allows you to customize Facebook as well as makes pictures bigger on mouse over.

Which extensions do you use?

Tip for best answer: M$1.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Top 3 Chome extensions:

AdBlock

Google Mail Checker by extensions -at- chromium.org

IE Tab by Blackfish Software

Favorite Google chrome extensions:

Flashblock
RSS subscription extension
Google translate
Send using gmail

I liked adblock, but unlike Fifefox ablock, I couldn't tell when adblock was blocking something!

Here are the top 5 most popular extensions, according to Google's chrome extension page:

  1. Adblock. This is one of my favorites, as it allows the user to eliminate advertisements from pages. I do not, however, recommend it for daily use, as it does not let you support the sites you love and can really mess up page management on Mahalo.
  2. Google Mail Checker. This is a simple extension that tells you if you have new GMail or Google Apps messages. Nice if you have either of those.
  3. IETab. This is a must-have. It lets you open a web site in an Internet Explorer rendering. If a site doesn't work, you can just reopen it in an IETab.
  4. Google Translate. This translates the sites that you stumble upon in a different language into English- if you want it to.
  5. Docs PDF/Powerpoint Viewer. This is pretty self explanatory. It opens up PDFs and Powerpoint documents that you find in Google Docs. It works well, but it's awfully slow, so I uninstalled it.
If you were wondering about top five extensions in terms of rating, then this is the list:
  1. One Manga Reader
  2. Feedly
  3. Facebook Photo Zoom
  4. Google Mail Checker Plus
  5. Robot Theme inspired by Android (R)
I'm afraid I have not tried these, so I cannot speak about their quality

The top 3 sites extensions of Google Chrome are:

1. AdBlock - this extensions strips out most ads from the majority of websites and allows you a cleaner and faster browsing experience.

2. Send from Gmail - this extensions directs every e-mail link on a website to a Gmail window instead of firing up MS Outlook. You don't have to copy and paste email addressed into Gmail. Another bonus feature is that you can instantly email the URL to any page you're reading using this extension. This will make it easier to spam out link for the latest LOLcats image or OK Go video.

3. Google Mail Checker - this will run tally of unread Gmail messages next to Chrome address bar and clicking the extension icon will open a Gmail tab. You will avoid having unread Gmail messages.
