What are your favorite Christmas carols?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Christmas is my favorite holiday. There's something always so magical about this season. I love singing and do it whenever I can. This might be all the time :). I don't believe there is a Christmas carol that I don't like. So, let's do this by category.

My favorite slow carols are:

1. What Child is This
2. Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire (Nat King Cole Version)
3. Do You Hear What Hear (Bing Crosby)

My favorite fast/upbeat carols are:

1. Let It Snow, Let It Snow (Frank Sinatra)
2. Jingle Bell Rock (Bobby Helms)
3. Frosty and the Snowman

There are many, many more Christmas songs that I love, but the above are my six favorites. I have attached videos of them below. Enjoy and Happy Holidays :)!

I absolutely love Christmas Carols! White Christmas is my favorite Christmas carol of all time! White Christmas was originally done by Irving Berlin. The version by Bing Crosby, however, is by far the most popular and most widely listened to. It is not known exactly when Berlin wrote the song but it is most commonly believed to have been written in 1940. This song was and is so popular that it even inspired a movie with the same name. This song can be heard almost everywhere during the holiday season! It is so wonderful to hear this song for the first time and know Christmas is coming! It is great to listen to while decorating the Christmas tree or doing your Christmas shopping. It is so wonderful to hear on Christmas Eve. White Christmas can get anyone into the holiday spirit. It is the perfect Christmas Carol.

I love O' Holy Night especially the versions by Martina McBride or Celine Dion. There are so many it is hard to choose. Happy Holidays :)
