What are you planning to do to save money this holiday season? Will you try to hide those efforts from your kids (if you have any)?

M$I've busted my arse this year and I do it for my daughter and my family. I will not spend myself into debt but I do want to enjoy the holidays and not worry or feel guilty about spending. I figure I've been saving and budgeting and living frugally long enough that I deserve a small break. A very small one.
If anything, I am planning on trying to buy my daughter more useful gifts like books and games. I'm so tired of all of the wasted money on junk and trinkets that she doesn't look at twice and serves no purpose. I guess that means I'll be trying to shop more wisely.
